Continuing the Love for Cafe Racer

We’re proud to be part of the “Continuing the Love for Cafe Racer” concert series, a monthly benefit event. Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub has graciously agreed to host the shows, which feature a fantastic lineup of local bands. All proceeds will be used to support the victims of the tragic shootings that occurred at Cafe Racer on May 30, 2012.

The September edition of “Continuing the Love” is this Saturday, September 29. We’re excited to be sharing the stage with three talented local acts: Country Lips, Oh My Goddess, and Kevin Incroyable of the Peculiar Pretzelmen.

Then we’ll head down south to the barrios of Argentina, where the smoky melodies of Chicharra Tango will have you and your lover locked in passionate embrace. From there it’s back to the American jazz clubs and vaudevilles with Miss Mamie Lavona the Exotic Mulatta and her White Boy Band. Bring your best kicks, there will be dancing!
